Jamshedpur, July 15: Jamshedpur Police conducted a flag march in various areas of Mango on Monday to ensure peace and security during Muharram celebrations. The joint operation involved District Police and CRPF jawans, who marched through sensitive areas including Azadnagar, Munshi Mohalla, Chepa Pul, and Imambara.

July 17 will mark Dashami of Muharram during which the Muslim community will engage in traditional akhara activities. Akhara will also be organized on Navami. The flag march, led by the in-charges of Azad Nagar and Mango police stations along with District Police and CRPF personnel, was intended to send a clear message to anti-social elements that the police were fully prepared to maintain order during the festival. It also reassured the general people of the police’s commitment to their safety.
The Jamshedpur Police aims to facilitate a peaceful and secure environment for the Muharram celebrations through this proactive measure.
