Jamshedpur, June 1: Manisha Banerjee alias Payal, a resident of Ramjanam Nagar under Kadma PS has been missing since the past six months and the police have remained clueless thus far. The girl’s mother, Pratima Banerjee has been running from pillar to post in her attempt to trace her missing daughter but her efforts have remained an exercise in futility.
Pratima Banerjee informed,“My daughter, Payal and I used to run a tea stall near the Modi Park (Sir Dorabji Tata Park). On December 11 last, my daughter left the stall for home but she did not return. I reported the matter in the Bistupur police station. I have even tried to contact her on her cell phone several times but her mobile has remained switched off.” In an emotional note, Payal’s mother, the hapless Pratima Banerjee stated, “My daughter is my all. My world revolves around her. I have been making personal efforts and taking the help of people close to us to seek my daughter. I have been making enquiries at the police station but still, we are all groping in the dark.”
