Jamshedpur, Jan 27: Adityapur police arrested one Babu Mahato and busted a mini factory of spurious liquor in Dhirajganj Satvahini in Seraikela-Kharsawan on Friday.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Anand Prakash, “An illegal liquor factory was being run in the house of the accused. Spurious liquor was being manufactured here. On receiving information about the factory, local police was asked to take action. A team led by the officer-in-charge Rajan Kumar was set up to raid the factory,” said the SP.
Police seized spurious liquor, bottles and other raw materials from the mini factory and forwarded the accused to judicial custody.
