Jamshedpur, March 1: Olidih police arrested a man, identified as Ravindranath Mahato alias Laden, with cannabis (ganja) from National Highway 33 near Uma Hospital late Monday evening. The ganja supplier however escaped from the scene.
Cops said they had confiscated 26 gram cannabis, rolling papers, scanning machine and Rs 500 cash from the possession of the accused, who is a resident of Khuprakhupi village of Dhalbhumgarh.
A case was registered against the accused on the information of SI Yudhisthir Kumar Prajapati under NDPS Act.
