Jamshedpur, March 1: Police arrested three persons including two women on charges of their alleged involvement in immoral trafficking from National Highway 18 in Baharagora late Monday evening.
Police sources said those arrested include a 37 year old woman, a truck driver, identified as Tuna Kumar, a native of Bihar, and a 52 year-old woman who allegedly runs flesh trade in the area.
Sources said a police team cracked down on the flesh trade den alongside the highway on the basis of a tip-off. The younger woman is from Medinipur (West Bengal).
A case was registered against the accused persons under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
