Jamshedpur: One arrested for selling railway ticket in black

Jamshedpur, Aug 10: Railway police arrested one Ajay Gupta, proprietor of a store, from Adityapur, for allegedly selling train tickets in black. They confiscated 75 old railway tickets, two new tickets and Rs 36,000 from his possession.

Sources said a Railway police team conducted a raid at Golu General Store at Road No 17 in Adityapur and arrested its proprietor. They said an FIR had been registered against Gupta for black-marketing of railway tickets.

This is not the first time when Railway police have arrested someone for black-marketing of train tickets. Earlier, too, several people from Jamshedpur and Adityapur have been held on similar charges.
