Jamshedpur: Obscene hoarding of women’s undergarments removed after ruckus

Jamshedpur, Sep 10: Women members of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha raised a ruckus after seeing a hoarding of women’s under garments put up near Jumbo Akhara in Bhalubasa under Sitaramdera police station. The hoarding had obscene photos of women advertising undergarments. The members of Jumbo Akhara reached the spot and the Sitaramdera police were informed. Local women also joined the protest. The police arrived at the spot and had the offending hoarding removed. JNAC City Manager Joy Gudia and other personnel also arrived at the scene. The local women and women Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha demanded action against officials who had accorded permission for putting up the hoarding.

 Office bearers of the women’s wing of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha demanded that the district administration should investigate who had assented to putting up of the obscene hoarding and punitive action be taken against them.
