Free ultrasound facility launched at Jugsalai Community Health Centre

Jamshedpur, Sept 10:  Free ultrasound facility for expecting mothers was launched at Jugsalai Community Health Centre (CHC). The expecting mothers registered at CHC will undergo ultrasound test to be conducted at Care and Key Diagnostic Centre in Jugsalai. The free ultrasound test facility was inaugurated jointly by Civil Surgeon Dr Sahir Pal and Sadar Hospital’s Praveen Kumar. This facility will be provided to expecting mothers who undergo ANC test at CHC every month.

This free ultrasound test facility launched by the Government of India will enable pregnant women who otherwise could not avail of this service because of exorbitant charges at private hospitals and clinics. Jugsalai CHC In-charge, Dr Moiz Ansari and other personnel were present on the occasion.
