Jamshedpur: New DEO assures support to scouts and guides movement

Jamshedpur, July 5: A delegation from the Bharat Scouts and Guides, East Singhbhum District Headquarters, paid a courtesy visit to the District Education Department office in Jamshedpur. The delegation, led by District Organisation Commissioner Naresh Kumar, met outgoing District Education Officer Manoj Kumar and newly appointed District Education Officer Nishu Kumari.

The delegation welcomed Nishu Kumari and felicitated both education officers with bouquets and ceremonial Scout scarves in recognition of their association with the organisation.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the new District Education Officer about the various scouting and guiding activities being conducted across East Singhbhum. They also expressed gratitude to Manoj Kumar for his support in promoting and expanding the Scouts and Guides movement during his tenure.

The delegation requested Nishu Kumari to continue extending support to the organisation’s programmes. Assuring full cooperation, the new District Education Officer said she would work towards the proper development and strengthening of the Scouts and Guides movement in the district.

The delegation included Assistant Commissioner (Rover) Manas Ranjan Patra, Headquarters Commissioner Shivaji Singh, District Commissioner (Rover) Dr. Mithilesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner (Scout) Udit Narayan, Scout Master Krishna Tudu, District Scouter Representative Ajay Kumar, and District Commissioner (Cubs) Shyam Sharma.
