Jamshedpur: A football training programme for children in the sub-junior and junior categories was inaugurated at the Joggers Park Sports Academy in Shastrinagar, Kadma, on Sunday.
The academy, managed by the Shaheed Nirmal Seva Sadan, has kicked off this coaching initiative under the expert supervision of veteran football coach Iftikhar Alam.
The training programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, Anshu Sarkar, Founder and Director of the Sarkar Yoga Charitable Academy.
G.K. Bose, General Secretary of Shaheed Nirmal Seva Sadan, stated that the academy’s core objective is to provide high-quality sports infrastructure and training to local youth, helping them unlock their full potential.
- The Goal: To groom and prepare talented local players for district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Future Expansion: The academy plans to introduce training modules and competitive tournaments for other sports in the coming months to create a multi-sport ecosystem for aspiring athletes.
