Jamshedpur: Negligence slur on Sadar hospital after woman’s death

Jamshedpur, September 8 :  In the last two days, two people had died due to negligence in treatment at MGM Hospital.

This matter was not even settled yet that now the case of the woman’s death has come to light due to the negligence of the Sadar Hospital management.

 The family members have accused the hospital management of negligence in treatment of a 40-year-old Anita Devi, resident of Telco Lakshmi Nagar.

She was admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment on Wednesday evening due to ill health. It was said in the hospital that dengue test would be done in the morning. However, her health suddenly deteriorated on Thursday. He was brought to MGM Hospital for treatment where she died while ECG was being done.

Anita Devi’s son Akash told that mother’s health had suddenly deteriorated. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital late on Wednesday evening. It was said in the hospital that further treatment would be done only after investigation and saline was administered. During treatment, the mother fell down from the bed but no one came to pick her up. The hospital management was asked several times to refer her but she was not referred.

In the end, everyone reached MGM with the slip, where the mother died. Regarding the matter, Civil Surgeon Jujhar Majhi said that further action will be taken after receiving the written complaint.
