Jamshedpur, June 2: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Varan Mahato met Electrical Superintendent Engineer Deepak Kumar on Friday regarding the electricity problem of rural areas.
The MP mainly raised the problems of Jugsalai assembly constituency area along with the demand for construction of power grid near Hadiya Gian and sub-stations at Lodhasholi, Belajudi and Patmada.
Talking to reporters, the MP said that the transformer replacement system of the electricity department is in good condition. Other issues including load shedding have been discussed with the Superintending Engineer. Electricity SE has said that load shedding has to be done compulsorily. All sub-stations will be repaired before monsoon. The electricity department is in action mode 24 hours. Even after a storm, the supply is normalized in record time.
There is a problem of electricity pole in the rural area. In many areas, electricity has been delivered to the power houses with bamboo sticks. Instructions have been given to move the electric wire passing over the pond and someone’s house. Electrification work is going on in the hilly areas of Musabani and Jaduguda.
