Ranchi, June 8:Â Monsoon will arrive a bit delayed and reach Jharkhand between June 18 and 20.
Abhishek Anand of the Meteorological Center Ranchi said that the monsoon has arrived in Kerala after a delay of a week. With this, it may take 10-12 days for the monsoon to reach Jharkhand.

Regarding the weather forecast, the Weather scientist told that on June 8, 9 and 10, the weather will be dry and people will have to face the scorching sun. There is a possibility of rain on June 11-12. During this, on June 11, there is a possibility of scattered rain in Santhal Paragana along with North East parts of the state i.e. Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur and Sahibganj. There is a possibility of rain in Santhal Pargana, Kolhan and Central Jharkhand on 12th.
There is no possibility of any major change in temperature. But it is expected to increase by two to three degrees. The heat wave will continue like this and people will have to wait for the arrival of monsoon in Jharkhand to get respite from heat.
