Jamshedpur: Mobile thief caught during Ramnavami procession

Jamshedpur: A thief was caught laying his hands on the mobile phone of a man during Ramnavami procession at Sakchi roundabout on Monday. He was handed over to police by a mob.

Sources said the accused was found stealing a mobile phone from the pocket of an onlooker near the roundabout. A Ramnavami procession had just reached there. Taking advantage of the huge crowd, the accused tried to steal the phone, but was caught by the phone owner and his companions. The accused was beaten up and handed over to police.
