Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has appealed to the leaders of Muslim organisations not to oppose the construction of Hanuman and Shani Dev temples in Sakchi’s Virupa Road, but to ensure the construction of the temple by cooperating for it. There is no harm to anyone due to the temple standing at this place. Rather, the vacant land there is being put to better use.
On being called by the devotees who were building the temple, Saryu Roy had gone to the temple construction site on Sunday morning. He assured the devotees that he would make a public appeal to those Muslim leaders and leaders of Muslim organisations that with everyone’s consent and in a cordial atmosphere, the construction of the temple there would set a wonderful example of social harmony.
If needed, he will talk to Muslim leaders for this and will appeal for cooperation in the construction of the temple. Roy said that different faiths should respect each other’s places of worship so that an atmosphere of mutual harmony is created. When Hanuman and Shani Dev Maharaj have been duly established at that place, then everyone should respect the feelings of the devotees who have faith in them.
“These deities have a special place in the life of Hindu society. The place where the worship of his Deity has started has become the center of faith and belief. Maintaining the sanctity of this place, having this feeling of all the sects and creating an environment of mutual cooperation for this will strengthen the composite culture of unity in diversity and diversity of our country, the country will be strong,” he said.
