Jamshedpur, Oct 23: Ahead of the grand Chhath Puja festival, Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu conducted an inspection on Thursday of various artificial Chhath ghats constructed in Golmuri, Telco, and Baridih areas of her constituency.
During the visit, she interacted with local residents and members of Chhath Puja committees to review the ongoing preparations and identify issues at the ghats.
MLA Purnima Sahu emphasized that the convenience of devotees and worshippers is the top priority during Chhath Puja.
She instructed the concerned department officials over phone to ensure timely arrangements so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
She highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness, timely water supply through tankers, adequate lighting, security arrangements, and provision of changing rooms for female devotees.
She assured that continuous efforts are being made to ensure proper arrangements at all artificial Chhath ghats across the East Jamshedpur constituency and expressed confidence that all necessary facilities would be in place well before the festival
