Narainpur/Jamshedpur, March 29: Jamshedpur FC’s U14 and U16 teams registered convincing wins against RKM Football Academy, cementing their positions at the top of their respective Group G tables.
The U14 team got off to a flying start, with Karan scoring in the 45th minute to lead the Boys of Steel at halftime. The team continued to dominate in the second half, with Karan adding two more goals in the 73rd and 90th minutes to seal a 3-0 victory.
In the afternoon fixture, Jamshedpur FC U16 started strong, dominating possession and creating chances but failing to convert in the first half. The breakthrough came in the 60th minute when Prince scored, giving the Boys of Steel the lead. Charan’s goal in the 76th minute sealed a 2-0 win for the U16 team.
Both teams are now in strong positions, with the U14 side winning all their matches and establishing themselves as one of the most consistent teams in the competition. Jamshedpur FC U14 is on the brink of securing qualification to the final round, thanks to their strong attacking record and defensive solidity.
The U16 team, meanwhile, has already confirmed their place in the final round after an impressive run in the zonal stage. Sitting comfortably at the top of the table, they’ll look to carry their perfect record into their final group fixture.
Jamshedpur FC’s youth setup is enjoying a strong campaign, with both teams showcasing their consistency and progress in the AIFF Youth League. The U14s are looking to build on this momentum to secure qualification, while the U16s aim to finish the zonal round strongly ahead of the next phase.
