Jamshedpur, Oct 3: On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, MLA Purnima Sahu paid homage to Goddess Durga at several local Durga Puja pandals, including Preetam Park, Patel Nagar Ground, Neeti Bagh Colony, and Bhuiyadih.
She offered sindoor and participated in the traditional Sindoor Khela, a vibrant ritual where married women smear each other with vermillion, symbolizing marital bliss and prosperity.
Dressed in traditional Bengali attire, women celebrated the festival with joy and enthusiasm.
MLA Sahu joined them in the festivities, extending her warm wishes to all attendees for Vijayadashami and Dussehra.
She prayed for the well-being of all residents in her constituency, wishing for peace, happiness, health, and prosperity to prevail throughout the community.
