The couple, on their way from their residence in Adityapur to Jamshedpur, encountered the mishap on the busy Tata-Kandra road. Despite the incident taking place two hours ago, authorities are yet to identify the vehicle responsible for the fatal accident.
The Adityapur Thana Officer-in-Charge, Rajan Kumar, provided details on the circumstances surrounding the accident. He mentioned that there were three vehicles involved in the mishap, including a van and one belonging to Army personnel. However, the specific vehicle responsible for the accident remains unclear.
“We are in the process of determining the vehicle at fault by analyzing CCTV footage from the scene of the mishap,” stated OC Rajan Kumar.
The deceased woman’s name is yet to be officially ascertained. The lack of clarity regarding the responsible vehicle has prompted an intensive investigation, utilizing surveillance footage to piece together the sequence of events leading to the tragic incident.
In the midst of this unfortunate incident, the community mourns the loss of a life, and efforts are underway to ensure accountability for the devastating accident on Tata-Kandra Road.
