Jamshedpur, September 2. The case of two minor sisters resident of Parsudih Salgajhari Kalindi Basti being sold in Rajasthan on the pretext of giving them work has come to light.
The minor victim informed her mother over phone. After which the victim’s family reached on Saturday along with BJP leader Vimal Baitha to request the SSP to bring back both of them.
A memorandum has also been submitted to the SSP in this regard. The victim’s mother told that she earns her living by working as a labourer. Her two daughters whose age is 13 years and 15 years. On July 20, both daughters had gone to their grandmother’s house in Bagbera Harharguttu. Meanwhile, on August 7, Tulsi Kalindi, a resident of the neighbourhood, along with her husband, lured their daughters with the promise of getting them work and took them with them to Rajasthan.
On August 12, the daughters called and informed that Tulsi Kalindi had taken her to Rajasthan where she was sold. Now they are being exploited. The victim’s mother told that she had reached the police station on August 14 to lodge a complaint but she was turned away from the police station as she did not have the Aadhaar card. On August 18, she again reached the police station, but was told in the police station to go to Rajasthan and complain. Finally he took the help of BJP leader Vimal Baitha.
The mother told that in the meantime she was in touch with her daughters. Instead of sending his daughters back, he was given a bribe of Rs 1 lakh to keep his mouth shut.
