Dimna Lake to Get 10 Modern Guest Houses for Tourists

In a major push to promote tourism, plans are underway to develop the scenic Dimna Lake area—nestled along the foothills of the Dalma Hills—into an international-standard tourism destination. The initiative is being spearheaded by the Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, aiming to offer visitors a memorable stay amid nature at the eastern edge of Jamshedpur.

Guest Houses Planned at Kutimkali Village

As part of the project, ten modern guest houses will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹6 crore in Kutimkali village under Boram block. Located close to Dimna Lake and surrounded by the serene landscape of the Dalma Hills, the site offers an ideal blend of natural beauty and tranquility.

Situated around 15 kilometers from Tatanagar, the location is expected to emerge as a preferred getaway for tourists seeking respite from urban life.

Modern Comforts Amid Natural Surroundings

Officials said the guest houses will be equipped with modern amenities to ensure visitors enjoy comfort without compromising the experience of staying close to nature. The project is also expected to generate employment opportunities for local villagers and promote self-reliance in the region.
