Jamshedpur man’s beheaded body recovered in Bodam

Jamshedpur, March 27: Police here on Sunday recovered the headless body of an unidentified man from Saldoha in Bodam. They also confiscated a blood-stained scythe from the scene. They suspect the man was brutally killed elsewhere as local villagers claimed the deceased was not a local resident.

According to Shankar Lakra, officer-in-charge, Bodam police station, the deceased could be a 42 year-old man. He said the photos of the body have been sent to all police stations of the district. Once the deceased is identified, it would be easier for the police to find out the cause of murder.

A case of murder has been registered against unidentified persons in this connection.
