Jamshedpur: Toll tax exemption sought for private vehicles

Jamshedpur, March 27: Sudhir Kumar Pappu, a city-based advocate, has demanded exemption from paying toll tax for all private vehicles of Jharkhand. He said the private vehicle owners are often found arguing over payment of toll tax at various toll plazas. He said the Madhya Pradesh government had exempted private vehicles from paying toll tax. Likewise, the Jharkhand government should also take a decision in favour of private vehicle owners, he said in a press statement issued here on Sunday.

Pappu said toll tax should be imposed only on commercial vehicles.
