Jamshedpur, September 26:The first general meeting of Master Sobran Manjhi District Library located at People’s Academy, New Baradwari was held on Tuesday.
In this, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai was present as the chief guest, special guest Tripura Jha, head of the education faculty of Jamshedpur Women’s University and retired Kolhan Commissioner Mohanlal Rai were present.
Saryu Rai expressed happiness over the number of readers coming to the library within a year.
Tripura Jha and Mohanlal Rai also highlighted the importance of the library. In the meeting, life members of the library were honored by wearing robes and garlands. The guests released a souvenir of the library consisting of 40 pages.
Library conservator Suraj Prasad Singh presided over the meeting.
