Jamshedpur launches major outreach drive to make city No. 1 in Cleanliness

Jamshedpur, Jan 28: In a significant step towards strengthening the Swachh Jamshedpur Abhiyan, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC), in collaboration with Tata Steel UISL – Public Health Department, has issued an open invitation to social media experts, digital influencers, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to actively participate in the city’s cleanliness mission.

The initiative aims to harness the power of social media and community engagement to transform cleanliness into a mass movement, with the collective goal of positioning Jamshedpur as the number one city in cleanliness at the national level.

As part of the campaign, an exclusive interaction session on sanitation and civic responsibility will be organized shortly.

The session will be jointly led by the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of JNAC and the General Manager (Town – O&M), Tata Steel UISL, providing a platform for meaningful dialogue, innovative ideas, and actionable suggestions from stakeholders.

The interaction forum will focus on:

* Encouraging public participation

* Gathering constructive suggestions and digital strategies

* Amplifying awareness through social media outreach

* Turning cleanliness into a people-led movement
