Jamshedpur, May 15: The Jamshedpur court has sentenced Pramod Khosla owner of Khosla Steel in the case of check bounce and Rs 27 lakh and sentenced its owner Pramod Khosla to six months imprisonment.
Another owner Kishore Khosla is declared absconding in this case, who is being searched. The accused is absconding for almost 12 years. The matter is of the year 2011. Raw material was supplied to Khosla Steel by Diana Trade Com Private Limited Company. Material worth about Rs 1 crore was supplied.
It was told that Pramod Khosla and Kishore Khosla together gave two checks of Rs 50 lakh each on behalf of Khosla Steel. A check of 50 lakhs bounced. After this he demanded money, but the money was not given, after which the case was filed against Khosla Steel Company, company owner Pramod Khosla and Kishore Khosla.
Later, Bishendra Singh alias Mantu appeared on behalf of the company, after which the court found the case correct and sentenced. The hearing of this case was going on in the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Pawan Kumar of Jamshedpur Court.
