Jamshedpur: The death of 22-year-old Jeet Mahto from Gokul Nagar, Mango, during police custody has sparked controversy and demands for a thorough investigation. The SSP of Jamshedpur, Piyush Pandey, has requested a judicial probe from the Principal District & Sessions Judge.
According to the post-mortem and death review report, no external injuries or signs of torture were found on Jeet’s body.
