Jamshedpur, July 7. Bullets were fired during a gun fight between two groups in broad daylight on Friday near Mango Chowk Chhota Pul under Mango police station, at around 6.20 a.m.
However, no one has been shot in this incident. After getting information about the incident, Mango police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation. The police have also recovered three cartridges from the spot.
According to the information received, some youths came on foot near Chhota Pul at 6.20 am and pointed weapons at a youth. Seeing the weapon, the youth of the other group also took out the weapon. After this there was a fierce firing between the two groups.
After a while, people of both the groups ran away on foot. It is said that the shooters have fired 7 to 8 rounds.

CCTV footage of the incident of firing between the two groups has come to the fore. It is seen in the CCTV footage that a young man wearing a black shirt came on foot and started firing. During this, the youth fired 7 to 8 rounds. After executing the incident, he sat on the bike of one of his companions and fled towards Sakchi via Chhota Pul.
Police have received information that the attackers had come to target a person named Kallu. It is said that illegal recovery is done for setting up a fish market at the said site. The attackers had reached to collect extortion regarding the same matter.
At present, the police have identified the attackers and are trying to nab them. If the police is to be believed, this incident has happened in the supremacy of collecting extortion money from fish traders near Mango bridge.
One group was already collecting extortion while the other group was trying to remove them. Due to this both the groups came face to face. The names of the two groups which are coming to the fore in this firing case, the first one is Ajit Mandal while the other one is Amarnath group. According to the information received, Ajit Mandal and others had come to demand extortion from the fish trader.
