Jamshedpur, July 7: Targeting Bada Hanuman temple under Mango police station, thieves stole money from the donation box of the temple. After executing the incident, the thieves escaped comfortably.
The temple committee came to know about this when the priests reached to open the temple on Friday morning.

When the priest reached to open the temple, he saw that the entrance door and the glass of the sanctum sanctorum were broken. Thieves entered the sanctum sanctorum and ran away with all the money kept in the donation box. They found that the donation box was broken and the money kept in it was missing. He immediately informed the police about it.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The activity of the thief has been captured in the CCTV of the temple. A thief is seen stealing on camera.
Shiv Prakash Sharma, secretary of the temple committee, said that the thief entered the temple late at 2 am and came out after stealing in a short while.

He told that the temple committee opens the donation box every two months. The donation box was to be opened on the coming Tuesday also but before that it was stolen. He told that there will nearly Rs 60,000 in the donation box.
BJP leader Vikas Singh also reached the temple in the morning. The priest told the BJP leader that the donation box had not been opened for two months.
