XLRI Jamshedpur 9th in NIRF management ranking

Jamshedpur, June 5: The list of NIRF 2023 ranking was released on Monday by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

In this, Jharkhand’s only educational institute Xavier School of Management (XLRI) has got 9th position in the field of management. Xavier School of Management is a private business school run by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

It was established in 1949 in Steel City Jamshedpur as the oldest business school in the country. XLRI getting 9th place in NIRF ranking is a matter of pride for the people of the entire state.

A total of 360 students had enrolled in the two-year post graduate course in management at XLRI in the session 2021-22. In this, 351 students were selected by various companies. In this, the student got a job at a maximum of Rs 30 lakh per year. A total of 484 projects for 53 clients were completed by XLRI students in 2021-22.

Presently 713 students from different states are studying in XLRI. The college has a huge library, auditorium and study center for the students with state-of-the-art facilities. Based on all these features, XLRI has been ranked 9th in the 2023 ranking issued by NIRF. Among the management institutes, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad is at the top followed by IIM Bangalore at the second position and IIM Kozhikode at the third position.
