Jamshedpur, April 2: Jamshedpur FC achieved a major milestone as its U18, U16, and U14 teams qualified for the final round of the AIFF Elite, Youth, and Sub-Junior League 2025–26. All three teams topped Group G and remained unbeaten, highlighting the club’s strong youth development system.
The U18 team, coached by Kaizad Ambapardiwala, delivered an outstanding performance. They won seven matches and drew two out of ten, finishing with 26 points. The team scored 42 goals and conceded only three. Rayan was the top scorer with 10 goals. The team’s success came despite the absence of Heeranganba Seram, who is currently with the India U17 squad preparing for the AFC U17 Championship. The final round will be held in Mahilpur, Punjab, from April 16.
The U16 team, under coach Shakti Singh, also impressed by qualifying for the final round for the second consecutive season. They recorded seven wins and one draw in eight matches, scoring 33 goals and conceding five. Marshal Hembran and Rajveer Kapoor were the top performers with eight goals each. The final round will take place in Goa.
The U14 team, coached by M. Rahul Raj, had a near-perfect campaign, winning all eight matches. They scored 32 goals and conceded just two. Kartik Marandi stood out with 15 goals. The final round will be held in Mahabalipuram near Chennai.
All three teams have a strong representation of players from Jharkhand, reflecting successful grassroots development. The achievement underlines Jamshedpur FC’s commitment to nurturing young talent and contributing to the growth of Indian football.
