Jamshedpur: A domestic dispute in the Parsudih police station area escalated into a serious altercation between two related parties, leading to cross FIRs involving allegations of assault, abuse, and molestation. The incidents occurred in Shankarpur and Chandni Chowk localities.
The first complainant, a woman residing near the Kabir Temple in Shankarpur, alleged that Mihir Gope, Manoj Nayak, Dilip Gope, Abhimanyu Gope, and an unidentified person entered her home, abused her, used caste slurs, assaulted her, and molested her.
In response, the opposing party filed a counter-complaint accusing Shyam Gope, his wife Sushma Gope, Shyam’s mother, and brother Tinku Gope of assaulting and abusing them at their residence in Chandni Chowk on the same day around 9 AM.
Parsudih police station in-charge confirmed that both parties had made serious allegations against each other and the issue seemed to have stemmed from a minor dispute. Statements from both sides had been recorded and the matter was under investigation. No arrests had been made so far, and legal action would be taken post-investigation
