Jamshedpur, April 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced National Panchayat Award 2022 on Sunday through Webcast from Pali Gram Panchayat of Sambha district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Gram Panchayat category of Deen Dayal Panchayat Awards, Mediya Gram Panchayat of Mosabani block has been selected for the award. Under Panchayat Samiti category, Dumaria has been selected while under the Zila Parishad category, East Singhbhum has been selected, sources said.
From East Singhbhum, Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Pradip Prasad, District Panchayati Ran Officer Dr Rajnikant Mishra, Raju Jha, DPM, Sanjay Soren, block coordinator Dilip Giri and Panchayat secretary of Mediya (Mosabani) Abhijit Kumar were also connected to the Webcast today, officials said.
