Jamshedpur, Sep 20: District Transport Officer (DTO) of East Singhbhum Dinesh Ranjan launched a drive against illegal parking on National Highway 33 near Dimna Chowk and Marine Drive on Tuesday. As many as 42 vehicles were checked during the drive. Four of them found in no parking area were blacklisted. The DTO said the drive was launched with the view to prevent accidents on the highway and city roads caused by collision of speeding vehicles against wrongly parked vehicles. Vehicles should not be parked on the highway or any other no parking zone, he said.
