Jamshedpur, Sep 20: District transport department is going to organize a district level painting competition on Gandhi Jayanti this year. The topic of the event is ‘Neglect of road safety by youths under swag of fashion’ and ‘Road safety amid daily activities’. The first prize carries a cash award of Rs 2500 while second and third prizes carry cash awards of Rs 1500 and Rs 1000 respectively, said sources.
The painting entries should be made on A4 or A3 size papers and can be emailed to roadsafety.jamshedpur@gmail.com after scanning. Names of artists should be written at the bottom of the painting, sources said.
