Jamshedpur: One Vijay Verma of Kapali allegedly looted cash worth Rs 20,000 from one Vijay Yadav of Panchwatinagar, Sonari, near Marine Drive under Sonari police station area on Saturday.
The victim was taken to MGM Hospital. A case has been registered against the accused in this connection.
According to Yadav, he had gone to Mango to purchase a buffalo. On his way back, he was stopped by Verma near Marine Drive. Verma allegedly assaulted Yadav on his face and other body parts and snatched cash kept in his pocket. Before Yadav could do anything, the accused fled the scene.
