Jamshedpur: The parents and kin of Ruby Kumari alias Rinku Devi of Dayal City Parvati Nagar, Parsudih, lodged a police complaint against the husband and in-laws of the deceased while accusing them of killing her.
According to police, Madhav Prasad Rai, father of the deceased, has accused his son-in-law Sitaram Kamat, his mother Savitri Devi and other relatives of having tortured Ruby. The complainant said Ruby was killed as a result of a conspiracy, police said.
Ruby’s parents met Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) M Tamil Vanan and demanded arresting of the accused persons. They said the police had not yet taken action against the culprits despite their complaint.
