Jamshedpur: The Crime Control and Detection squad of Railway Police arrested two thieves in connection with the theft of a mobile phone here on Tuesday.
Railway police officials said the accused persons, identified as Vishnu Karua and Mohammad Farukh, had stolen the mobile phone of one Vinod Kumar, a Railway employee, from the parking area of Tatanagar railway station around 4 am today. The accused persons stole the phone from Kumar’s pocket and started running away when the victim raised an alarm.
The squad members arrested the accused persons after a chase and lodged an FIR against them.
