Jamshedpur, June 27: A couple from Gandhi Maidan, Mango, met Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on Monday to seek police help in getting compensation from the employeer of their paralysed son.
The couple, Mohammad Kaleem and his wife, said their son Sharafat Ali was paralysed for the last two years. They said their son had fallen from a 10 feet high place while doing some household repair work in the house of one Pappu Singh near Mango Chowk on 30th September. “Sharafat’s backbone was fractured in the mishap. He is under treatment ever since. Despite demand for compensation, Pappu Singh has not given any financial aid to our son,” said Kaleem.
Kaleem and his wife had gone to meet the Deputy Commissioner, but could not meet her. They said they needed Rs 8 lakh for the treatment of their son.
