Jamshedpur, April 22: A case of theft has been reported from the residence of a doctor living in the TMH Doctors’ Hostel under Kadma police station area, where gold jewellery, including a ring and other ornaments, was stolen.
The complainant, Dr. Geetisudha Munda of TMH, has expressed suspicion against her house staff—security guard Ramesh, domestic help Tulsi, and cook Durga.
Based on her statement, a named FIR has been lodged against all three at Kadma police station.
According to the complaint, the theft occurred between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM on April 20, while the doctor was away on duty.
The incident came to light upon her return when she found the jewellery missing from the cupboard.
Police have initiated an investigation and are currently questioning the accused. Officials stated that efforts are underway to solve the case at the earliest.
