Jamshedpur, May 31: A couple, identified as Sushil Thakur and Rekha Devi, were allegedly injured by their neighbours following a land dispute in Harharguttu Darzi Mohalla under Bagbera police station area on Monday.
Rekha Devi reportedly sustained head injury in the incident while her husband sustained internal injuries. The two went to Bagbera police station to lodge a complaint against the accused persons. They were sent to MGM hospital.
Thakur alleged that his neighbours, Dharmu Sharma, Vicky Sharma and Ajit Sharma wanted to usurp a plot of land situated outside his house. On Monday, the accused persons barged into the couple’s house late night and assaulted them with canes.
