Central government developing Railways at fast pace: Bidyut Baran
MP, DRM and Baharagora MLA inaugurate facility

Jamshedpur, March 20: Narendra Modi government has transformed the Indian Railways. The railway department is progressing like never before under the able leadership of our Prime Minister. This was observed on Sunday by the MP of Jamshedpur, Bidyut Baran Mahato, during the inauguration of the newly-constructed underpass road near Chakulia railway station.
The MP was accompanied by the Baharagora MLA Sameer Mohanty and the divisional rail manager (DRM) of South Eastern Railway Manoranjan Pradhan. The underpass is close to the west railway level crossing near Chakulia station. The MP was accompanied.
Mahato said people were now getting to see third railway line. The railway stations from Kanimahuli to Jamshedpur are being revamped. I have put forth a demand to develop Ghatsila railway station as a model station before the senior Railway authorities. Once the approval is given, Ghatsila station would be developed at a fast pace, said Mahato.
The MP further said that the Central government had given approval to the proposal for the construction of Budhamara rail route. But the Jharkhand government is yet to acquire land for the purpose and hand it over to the Railways, which has delayed the project, he said.
The DRM said Railway had given all necessary amenities at Chakulia railway station. On the completion of third line construction work, adequate amenities would be available at all stations, he said.
The DRM thanked all Railway employees for completing the work in a small span.
Mahato said the Central government was developing the Railways and working with a progressive mindset. He thanked all Railway officers and employees for their role in the construction of border station and underpass road during COVID-19 epidemic.
The Baharagora MLA said the Railways had done a commendable job by building a grand station at Chakulia. He thanked all Railway workers for their hard work.
Many dignitaries were present at the inaugural session.
