Chandil, March 20: A delegation of villagers of Chandil led by Patkom Dishom Manjhi Pargana Mahal met the state transport minister Champai Soren and gave him a memorandum demanding construction of a boundary wall around the local Jahergad.

The delegation members said the Jahergad was the place where the tribal people perform worship and organize various cultural programmes. In the absence of a boundary wall, organizing such events is difficult, they said.

The minister assured to get the boundary wall constructed soon and also gave consent to attend ‘Baha Bonga Buru’ at the Jahergad on 4th April. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha central committee member Gurucharan Kisku was present during the meeting with the minister.
