Jamshedpur Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee elections: List of voters of all 33 Gurudwaras out

Jamshedpur, Dec 12: The Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) election committee has issued the list of voters of all 33 city gurudwaras and its three outfits, Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Stree Satsang Sabha and Dharm Prachar Committee Akali Dal. Two representatives each of the three outfits would participate in the polls along with the voters of the 33 gurudwaras, sources said.

Sources said there are 13 gurudwaras where the total number of voters is 10 each. Parsudih Gurudwara has only one voter.

Meanwhile, Bhagwan Singh, one of the aspirants to the post of CGPC Pradhan, has raised objections over the voters’ list issued by the election committee. He said the five member election committee should conduct the election as per the constitution of CGPC. He said the voters’ list is full of anomalies and that it contains the names of committees that have been dissolved earlier. He said committees are not included in the election process as a matter of convention in the CGPC.
