Jamshedpur, August 4:The bail plea of BJP leader Abhay Singh has been put on hold once again.
On Friday, a hearing was held in the Jamshedpur court regarding bail in the case filed by Mohammad Sagir, a resident of Mango. During this hearing time was taken from the public prosecutor and it was said that the case diary has not been prepared yet.
After this, the court fixed a week’s time. Till August 11, the court gave the last chance to the police to submit the case diary.
During the hearing of this case, hearing was held regarding the bail plea of Abhay Singh’s brother Dilip Singh and Nirbhay Singh in the same case.
During this hearing, the arrest of Dilip Singh and Nirbhay Singh was stayed.
Incidentally, Mohammad Sagir, a resident of Mango in Jamshedpur, had accused BJP leader Abhay Singh, his brother Dilip Singh and Nirbhay Singh of demanding extortion in Mango police station.
In this regard, he had filed a case after going to jail. Mohammad Sagir had told in the FIR that he had taken the land of late Jeet Narayan Singh in the year 2012 to build a flat. At the time of making the flat, Abhay Singh, Dilip Singh, Nirbhay Singh demanded extortion from them.
According to the allegation, an extortion of Rs 5 lakh was demanded and had threatened to kill him if he did not pay extortion while pointing a weapon at his forehead. He had filed a case in this matter. On the other hand, Sudhanshu Ojha and Ranjit Pandey, accused of the Kadma violence, walked out of jail. He was earlier granted bail by the court.
