Jamshedpur, August 4: The Jharkhand government has again sent a reminder letter to DC East Singhbhum to investigate the irregularities prevailing in the community building located in Chhaya Nagar and has issued instructions to investigate the matter and submit the investigation report.
Human rights activist Manoj Mishra said that on December 21, 2022, the government’s Ministry of Urban Development and Housing had directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate in this matter, even after completion of almost seven months, the then Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav did not act in the public interest.
Manoj Mishra said that Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, after which the Ministry has directed the Deputy Commissioner to re-investigate the matter. Mishra told that only eight people have booked the community hall located in Chhaya Nagar in a year, such information has been given by JNAC under Right to Information, which is surprising?
JNAC has refused to say anything on the matter related to the recovery of water and electricity in the booking of the building.
Manoj Mishra told that all the community buildings of the city including Chhaya Nagar have been occupied by bullies, who charge arbitrary fees from the poor people and are running their business.
