In a press conference organized by the BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar on Thursday, Bidyut Baran Mahato said, “The country has achieved this historic target in the world’s largest free vaccination campaign against coronavirus infection and thus has set an example for the world to appreciate and emulate. Crossing the figure of 100 crore doses under the foresight and efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is an awesome achievement,” and added, “Achieving the target of 100 crore vaccinations in this campaign, which started amidst odd circumstances of the COVID phase, is a miracle. Gratitude of the nation is due to the dedication and contribution of Indian scientists, medical workers and all the Corona Warriors who made their important contribution in the war against COVID-19. BJP workers who worked dedicatedly under the party’s Seva Hi Samarpan campaign should also be lauded.”

Mahto said that under the leadership of Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, all the party workers, including the district committee, reached out to the needy people and served them. Referring to the Oxygen Plant set up in Jamshedpur under PM Cares Fund, the parliamentarian said, “Adequate availability of oxygen after vaccination will completely eliminate the effect of the possible third wave.

Initially, there was hesitation among the people towards the vaccine in the country. Due to lack of awareness and information, people were skeptical about getting vaccinated. There were various misconceptions about the vaccine, especially in rural areas. But Prime Minister Narendra Modi, facing all the challenges, secured the country and the countrymen. The COVID threat is not over yet, we still have challenges before us. In such a situation, everyone should get both doses of vaccines at the earliest.”

He said that BJP workers were excited about the completion of vaccination of 100 crore people in the fight against Corona. District President Gunjan Yadav expressed his gratitude to all the Corona Warriors involved in the ongoing campaign against the Corona epidemic for crossing the milestone in vaccination.
