Jamshedpur: 19 absenting polling personnel served notice

Jamshedpur, May 18: Polling parties were dispatched from Cooperative College for the second phase of the three-tier Panchayat Election – 2022. All the polling parties were dispatched with the polling material. 


A total of 19 polling personnel, who were absent from the deputation site at the Despatch Center, have been put on show cause, including five from Chakulia, five from Dhalbhumgarh and nine from Baharagora.

The District Election Officer  Vijaya Jadhav said that in the second phase of polling on May 19, a total of 256378 voters (128866 male voters, 127511 female voters, 1 transgender voter) are eligible to cast votes at 124 polling stations in Dhalbhumgarh block, 218 in Chakulia block and 306 in Baharagora block.

In Panchayat elections, voting will be conducted through ballot boxes.
