Jamshedpur: Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar inaugurated a 10-day goat rearing and poultry farming training program at the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSET) Training Center in East Singhbhum district yesterday. The training program includes trainees from various blocks of the district.
During the inauguration, Kumar emphasized the benefits of the training program in setting up an enterprise. He stated, “RSETI training is a better platform for all those who want to become successful entrepreneurs and want to be self-employed. In this way, they can provide employment to others along with themselves.”
Kumar highlighted that the women of the group could significantly improve their economic conditions through chicken and goat rearing. These ventures require less capital, less time, less effort, and minimal space, making them highly accessible and profitable.
Throughout the training, participants will receive detailed information on the maintenance of poultry and goat farming, vaccination procedures, and common diseases affecting chickens and goats. This comprehensive approach ensures that trainees are well-equipped to manage and sustain their enterprises effectively.
The program saw the presence of several dignitaries, including the DPM JSLPS, SDR of RSETI, the Director, and the entire RSETI team, who extended their support and guidance to the trainees.
