Ishank Jaggi helps Tata Hitachi win JSCA Institution League

Jamshedpur, March 7: Brilliant batting display by Ranji lads Ishank Jaggi (65 n.o) and Virat Singh (35) help give Tata Hitachi the Championship crown of JSCA Institution League Super Division final match played at Keenan Stadium on Thursday, March 5.

Batting first Tata Hitachi scored 228/6 in 50 overs were Prashant Rahul scored 43 runs. Chasing 229 to win Mecon Sports Club was bundled out for 151/10 in 38.1 overs were the top scorer was Nazim who scored 36 runs with the help of 5 boundaries.

Hitachi’s Vishal Singh was the pick of the bowlers taking 5 wickets for 26 runs giving Tata Hitachi a 71 run victory over Mecon Sports Club and also the championship.

Later a prize distribution ceremony was held were Charles Borromeo was the Chief Guest along with Ashok Ghosh, Parvez Khan, Parambir Singh, Surendra Kumar and Rajesh Verma, Hony. Secretary, JSCA.
